Heather Leal was born in the northern state of Oregon and raised in San Antonio, TX since the age of 3.  She was raised in a household dedicated to customer service and helping others as her mother was a Texas Health and Human Services Caseworker while her father worked in the hospitality business. Caring for others came natural to her at a young age as she would also help care for younger and elderly members of her family.   

Heather started in the home healthcare industry in 2006 and has held different positions over the course of her career that have helped her gain experience and utilize her knowledge of the industry, working her way from entry level personnel to management. She is a caring, compassionate and empathetic individual who is able to imagine herself in the shoes of others to help find the best solution for all. She assists in all aspects of the industry from clients, caregivers down to office staff and has a calming demeanor and the natural ability to make others feel comfortable and at ease. 

Heather is an advocate for mental health, especially in the Latin community, and believes that being compassionate with oneself helps provide us with the energy to understand and help others.  As an avid Star Wars fan she is drawn to a famous movie line quote “Compassion, which I define as unconditional love….so you might say we are encouraged to love.”

Heather currently serves as an Alternate Administrator with Pride PHC Services and takes a lot of pride in her work ethic and truly believes that the clients and caregivers come first.
